Halloween/Kade's 8th Birthday

Unlike Las Vegas, the students here have to go to school on Halloween. They had such a fun day planned. They started out by having a Halloween assembly where they sung really fun Halloween songs. Almost all of the teachers were dressed up too. Afterwards they had the students have a costume parade. It was fun to see all of the kids dressed up.

This is the first year where the boys did not have coordinating costumes. They had to choose from the costumes we brought with us. Kade and Connor were vampires and Kyle was a TIS doctor. Other than when Connor wore this costume, Cam was the cutest little dragon. He usually wears his dragon hat but he really didn't want to wear it at this moment.

The assembly and costume parade was right after school started so everyone walked to school.

Cam not wanting to walk, but not wanting to sit in his stroller either (probably because of his tail).

Don't ya love in this cute picture of Eric walking with Cam there is some Asian guy changing his shirt in the background. :(

Kyle always has to play in this hole. Every time we pass it.

Cam finally decided to keep his dragon hat on.

This little girl is one of the cutest little girls in Connor's class. We thought everyone called her princess because that is what Connor would call her. We have now learned her real name is Frances.

Cam was looking the phone during the assembly. This is a picture he took of himself.

A few minutes into the assembly Cam decided he was tired and wanted to lay down on the dirty floor.

All of the SK teachers dressed up as crayons.

This is the only picture I could get of Kade from the costume parade.

There was another cute little boy dressed up as a dragon. Him and Cam chased each other around for a little bit.

After the costume parade Cam and I went home for a couple of hours. Luckily one of our friends has a driver. She had us ride back home and gave us a ride back to the school with her. After we went back to the school we participated in Kade's Halloween party. Kade and his friends were so excited to have Cam come into their class. They worked on some fun Halloween worksheets and then had a Pot Luck for lunch. It was fun for Cam and I to be in his class with him.

Even though Cam wasn't in his dragon costume he would walk up to some of the students and say "rawr" and run after them.

Before we went back to the school Cam and I had to pick something up from the store. Here is Cam waiting for the shuttle. His face is always a mess.

After school we went home for a couple of hours. Once Eric was home we opened Kade's presents and then we went to the clubhouse for the Halloween party they had there.

Kade was excited to open his presents. He received items for his baptism, scouts and scripture study.

Another pressure cooker cake. It tasted a lot better than it looked.

Cam really wanted to help Kade blow out his candles.

Walking to the Halloween Party.

At the Halloween party.

Cam was not scared of the scary looking gorilla at all. He just laughed at it. They had a small haunted house in one of the rooms. All of the kids loved it. I wondered how Cam would react to it so I made sure I went in to see. After we were in there I saw a guy hiding in the corner. When he popped out Cam just started laughing and screaming. He thought it was great and not scary at all.

Of course he loved the balloons.

Getting ready for the magic show.

Cam basically being a dragon on the chair.

Kyle won these in one of the games they played.

It was a wonderful first Halloween in Macau and 8th birthday. We are grateful our friends the Dyer's were able to make it to the Halloween party even though they were extremely exhausted from being in Hong Kong. Happy Halloween!! Now we need to get ready for Kade's baptism. :)
