Golden Week

Golden Week is a special holiday here. School is out for the last few days of September and the first few days of October, basically for a week. Even after being in school for only 3 weeks the boys were super excited to have a vacation (aka holiday). What was the first thing they wanted to do? Go swimming of course. We waited until it was closer to night time. It is always more fun to go when all the light are on.

Cam is pulling Kade in this picture.

Watching movies. We do not have cable here, so the boys watch a lot of movies over and over again.

I don't know why I like taking pictures when Eric is walking with one of the boys. It is just so cute! Cam started figuring out the only way he can be out of his stroller is if he holds Daddy's hand. He made sure he always had his hand because he did not want to be in the stroller. As he gets older he is being even more independent and self sufficient.

Every day at the SCC shoppes at 3:00 there is a DreamWorks parade. This was one of the things that was on our "must do" list during Golden Week. The boys absolutely loved it! This was either on the Monday or Tuesday of that week, hence Eric in his well made and fitted suit.

Oh sweet!!

Love this picture of Cam!! He looks so thrilled!

We then walked over to the Venetian and went to the Transformers exhibit.

While we were walking over I saw this gorgeous arrangement of flowers.

Bumble Bee was walking around encouraging people to go see the exhibit.

The Qube.

Eric thought it would be fun to take a selfie.

Having going down the slide.

Cam kind of looks like he running away from the big scary dragon/monster.

Oh no, they turned into a transformer! ;)

As we were leaving the exhibition hall we saw the Titanic. All of it is made out of chocolate, even the little iceberg. Somebody did an awesome job! I am sure it took a long time to sculpt.

Walking out of the Venetian. The boys thought the horse was pretty cool.

Family picture. I can't get it to turn around.

Our first couple of days were a lot of fun. There is more fun coming.....
