Hong Kong/Discovery Bay

On Day 2 we decided to just stay around our hotel. We had a yummy breakfast and then headed over to the beach.

This is the really fun "pirate" boat that is always docked right outside the hotel.

We absolutely loved the beach. The boys really enjoyed looking for awesome seashells. The beach was filled with them. What was even more nice was we were the only ones on the beach. The boys could run around and be as loud as they wanted to.

As we walked further down we found this stream of fresh water flowing into the ocean. The boys couldn't resist jumping in and having fun. Eric dared Kade to swim to the middle of it, but both of them were to scared.

They found this really fun rope to swing on.

When we were done with the beach we went back to our hotel room to eat and rest. Eric bought the biggest pizza we have ever seen. I didn't think we would eat all of it, but the boys practically did. After we were rested we headed to the amazing pool. It was so nice relaxing by the pool with an amazing view of the ocean.

Kyle was pouting about something. I can't remember, but here is his pouty face.

When everyone was done swimming we went back to the hotel room for them to take a bath and relax a little. However, it is incredibly difficult for 4 little boys to actually relax so I ended up taking them to Discoveryland. It is this really fun kids place where they could rock wall climb, jump on a trampoline, play miniature golf, climb through the tunnels and just be kids. They absolutely loved it!! It was also decorated for Halloween a little bit.

There was this high walk that older kids could do. Kade really wanted to do it. Usually I think Kade is getting so big, but when he was up there with all the teenagers I realized how little he still really is. If I hadn't of been wearing a skirt I would have done this with him. It looked really fun! However, while I was looking up to take another picture of him I couldn't see him. Suddenly I hear his voice right behind me. I shockingly asked him why he wasn't still up there. He told me his foot slipped a little and it made him scared. Plus. the girl who was probably around his age got off too. He probably wouldn't have been so nervous if I could have been up there with him. Eric came down a little bit later and they wouldn't let him in. :(

Cam playing miniature golf.

While walking back to our hotel we
walked by these large hearts where people can put locks on. The lock signifies the two people are "locked" in love or hearts are locked together.

While walking back I also noticed how the light was hitting the water through the clouds. So beautiful and peaceful!

We also noticed how polluted parts of the ocean is. Kind of funny this is what Eric and I saw in Thailand too. We really do need to try to take better care of our environment and the Earth.

This is a much prettier view of the ocean.

Once we got back we all rested then fell asleep. The next morning we were thinking about going to the beach again but nobody had anymore clean clothes or undies. So, we decided to pack and start our journey back home to Macau. Overall, this was one of the most relaxing and fun vacations we have taken with the boys. I hope this is one they will always remember and look back on with fondness. If we get a chance we will definitely visit the Auberge and Discover Bay again. There are so may parts we didn't even get to experience.
