Halloween/Kade's 9th Birthday

Halloween was really busy, but super fun this year. The boys woke up super excited to wear their costumes to school. Luckily I was able to find Connor and Kyle's costumes at the Toys R' Us in Hong Kong. It was also fun for them to wear these awesome Halloween shirts Grandma sent.

Kade is a skeleton, Kyle a police officer, Connor an alien and Cam a scarecrow. Some of you might remember when Kade was a scarecrow when he was about Cam's age. This is the costume Kade wore.

Such an adorable little scarecrow!

Cam with friends at school.

All of the senior kindergarten kids sung all of these fun Halloween songs.

While they were singing I noticed three little astronauts in front of Connor. I thought it was hilarious! The astronauts have finally found extraterrestrial life!!

Grades 1-3 did a costume parade. The witch is Kyle's teacher, Mrs. Tse.

Even though he probably won't admit it Kyle seemed like he was searching for me.

His reaction when he saw me. Eric thinks I am going to be the kind of mom who embarrasses the boys when they get older. I hope I don't! I just want them to know I support them, love them, and most of the time are really proud of them.

After the parade I headed to Cam's class for some Halloween activities. He frosted a sugar cookie, colored a pumpkin and decorated another pumpkin with tissue paper.

After he was done with class I went to help the popcorn moms make popcorn. While helping Cam found Bay Max. He was super excited!

When school was done we came home and rested for a little bit. At around 5 we met a bunch of the other kids who live at One Grantai to go Trick-or-Treating to certain apartments. This was Cam's first official time Trick-or-Treating. They had so much fun with all of the kids.

Since it was Kade's birthday too we let him have his best friend Josh come to sleep over, so he also went Trick-or-Treating with us.

It was really funny because when we were done going to our apartment the boys didn't want to go Trick-or-Treating anymore, even though there was a few more apartments to go to. Instead we relaxed a little until we headed down to the clubhouse for a fun Halloween party. I absolutely love One Grantai! I haven't heard of very many other places doing this for their residents.

Here are a couple of pictures from the SK blog.

How our apartment was decorated.

When our friends, the Taylor's moved back to Utah, we bought their converters. That is one of the best purchases here because I can now plug in all of our US holiday lights.

Grandma sent 4 of these last year. This is how I decided to hang them.

Love the sign! And yes, our beautiful angel from mine and Eric's wedding has almost had it. :(

Kade always gets to have a fun birthday. The next morning we went to the Wynn and had the usual breakfast buffet. Josh was able to go with us. It really was a fun time!!

The staff found out it was Kade's birthday and sang to him. He is getting to the age where stuff like this can be really embarrassing, but he still liked it!

After we took Josh home we relaxed a little and then the boys played a few Halloween Bingo's with the cute Bingo cards Grandma sent. They really enjoyed playing it!!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween this year! We look forward to see where we will be Trick-or-Treating next year and celebrating Kade's 10th birthday. Oh my goodness, we are going to have a child in the double digits.
