Christmas assemblies/Kid of Character award

The week after pictures and Christmas activities/concerts there was also assemblies. Usually the assemblies are grades 1-3 and 4-6, but this was a special Christmas assembly so all of the kindergarten classes joined in too. Cam was excited since it was his very first assembly ever. They sang lots of Christmas songs and than was done.

Here is Connor. One of the snowman's in the background on the top row is his. He looks very handsome!

Kyle came in next.

Cam was so excited to see me. He ran up to his T.A. to show that his mom was here. Love him so much!! I am really enjoying this age he is at.

Kade and Josh coming into their assembly. This one was a regular assembly where awards were still handed out. Last year I never knew when Kade was receiving an award. Luckily his teacher emailed me to let me know. Kade had no idea.

Video of what his teacher said about him.

The awards says, "Service is giving to others, making a difference in their lives. You consider their needs as important as your own. Be helpful without waiting to be asked. Do every job with excellence. When you act with the spirit of service, you can change the world."

Congratulations Kade! We are so proud of you and your example you are to your brothers and friends.
