Hong Kong Temple

Eric had the last  three weeks of the year off. Since he was home I decided to go to the temple. I knew it was Sister Cheung's last week so I found out when she was attending her last session. The Hong Kong, China mission presidency has a tradition of having the missionaries go through the temple before they are released. Elder Hui's aunt always comes on these days and takes a ton of pictures for them. Sister Cheung was so surprised when she saw me there.

With our favorite sister missionary, Sister Cheung. Please excuse how awful I look and the shoes!! There is no way I can walk all around Hong Kong with heels on.

Elder and Sister Holbrook was also there. They are an incredible couple!!

Many of these sisters served in Macau. We will miss them!! The one in the red is Sister Lam, the mission presidents wife.

We have to cross a really busy street to get there. After I was done saying goodbye to Sister Cheung I went to the nearby mall with the Holbrook's. It is always nice to visit with them.

As the ferry was pulling in to Macau I thought this was so beautiful and peaceful. From here I can't see the normal hustle and bustle of Macau.

I can't wait until the next I have the opportunity to go to the temple!!

One Grantai Christmas Party

I love how the Clubhouse here does parties for some of the holidays. This is the Christmas party. It was really fun again and very well decorated. Last year there was a lot of expats, but this year there seemed to be a lot more Asian residents.

It started our with just these two in the picture.

Then Cam decided to join.

Then Kyle.

Eric sat down on the chair because we thought it would be fun to get a family picture. All of the kids wanted to join in on the picture. It was hard to explain to them so this is our "family" picture. Lol!

Fun games-one for the kids and one for the adults (BINGO). Kade won a prize for the BINGO, a pair of Minion slippers and small towel.

This is my friend Jen. She helps me to stay sane while living here in Macau. She is the mom of Henry and Will. We are so grateful for their entire family.

Of course Cam was excited to see the fake Mickey Mouse.

Kade and Henry, I only took one picture. Too bad Kade's eyes were closed.

We had a really fun night with some of our friends. We will always remember living at One Grantai!

Outside decorations.

More pictures from Carmel Park and Star Wars

Here are a few more pictures from Carmel Park.

This picture is funny because it shows Eric falling. Lol!

These pictures are taken above the park where there is a church. This nativity was in front of it.

I love how you can see our building peeking out from the trees in many of these pictures.

Walking home in the not so pretty parts.

The next morning we woke up to go to the 8 a.m. viewing of Star Wars. It was nice because it was really empty. Cam lasted through most of it. There were a couple of potty break during the movie, but we made it.

We had to walk through the brand new J.W. Marriott to get to the Galaxy movie theatre. It was gorgeous!

Excited for the new Peanuts movie to come out.

Front of Galaxy. I asked Connor if he wanted to stand with one of the tall Santa girls again but he was too shy this year.

What a fun time seeing Star Wars! It will be fun seeing how the next movie goes.
