School Celebration/Start of Chinese New Year

As I went to pick up Cam I noticed there was a small celebration for the start of the second building at TIS. All of the students made a CD or letter to put in the time container. This would be buried and I think the class in 10 or 20 years will open it. It was fun to see the unveiling of the handprints. Every student at TIS put their handprint on this display. It was fun to watch and be part of. Yes, that tall building in the background is where we live. The green building is part of MUST (the university).

After I picked up Cam we headed over to the Venetian. I can't remember why we needed to go over there. Probably to buy someone a new pair of shoes. As we approached the Venetain we noticed it was all decorated for Chinese New Year. This is the year of the monkey so there was several monkeys decorated in unique ways. Just like the panda statues Cam wanted to stand in front of each one and have his picture taken. Here are a few of the monkeys.

Later at home Cam was probably acting like a little monkey. ;)
