Chinese New Year at School

Every year the school celebrates Chinese New Year by providing fun activities for the students to do. All of the student have the opportunity to dress up in authentic Chinese costumes. One of our good friends who moved away last summer gave us this outfit for Cam. I think he looks absolutely adorable (handsome) in it. Kyle, Connor, and Cam had a great time participating in all of the activities. All kindergarten classes were together so Cam and Connor was able to have fun with each other. Kyle had my undivided attention. Each year dumplings are served. Last year I didn't really try one. This year I had to because the boys took one but then didn't want it. They are really yummy especially with soy sauce. Apparently the ones that were served aren't nearly as good as the ones served in some of the restaurants at the Venetian and other places. We will have to try them somewhere else.

Outside activities....bow and arrow, throw the circle, and cup walking.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Cam. He looks so handsome in his Chinese clothes.

This is the view we have while walking up the really big hill. It really can be quite beautiful at times.

Another miscellaneous picture of Cam.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Chinese New Year! We look forward to seeing what the "Year of the Monkey" brings us.
