Australian Football Game Day

A couple of Saturdays ago Kade and Kyle were able to play in their first official Australian Football game. A team came over from Hong Kong and they played on the TIS field (at their school). It was so HOT and muggy, but they had a fun time! Kyle played first and then Kade played with the older kids. The adult men were playing a tournament which I guess lasted all day. Since Eric doesn't play we didn't stay for that part.

Getting ready to play.

Meanwhile Cam and Connor thought it was fun to play on the massage table. The team "doctor" was so kind to them. She put sunscreen on them, talked to them and played with them.

There was some loud music playing so they started dancing. Cam really loves to dance. It was really cute! There was also a bake sale going on. Of course they wanted a cupcake. I bought myself a lamington, an Australian dessert. It was AMAZING! I had to buy myself another one.

Playing.

Here is Kyle just standing around. At least he has a buddy with him. He did run and try to get the ball.

They had Eric be the goal person. He had to wave flags when the ball went in either side of the poles, in the middle, or not at all. In Australian football there is three poles. In order to score the player has to kick the ball into the goal. They cannot throw it. If the player kicks the ball in the side goals they are awarded 2 points. If it goes through the middle the team is awarded 6 points.

Kade was about to catch the ball when two players completely smashed into his him. He ended up having a big lip. Here is Eric making sure he is ok.

Here is a view from the field. The Wynn, which is under construction, and City of Dreams.

More playing.

End of game.

Kade and Kyle are really excited to play again in September!

Walking to School and school work

One morning I walked the boys to school. I decided to have Cam walk instead of sit in his stroller. He really enjoyed it. He really thinks he is a big boy now.

On our way back home we saw a beautiful butterfly. Cam couldn't really see it. When I first showed the picture to Kade he had a difficult time seeing where the butterfly was.

Connor was learning about butterflies in school. Here is his butterfly he made.

While I was cleaning up the boys' room I found this piece of paper Kyle was drawing on. I was amazed at how well he is writing in Mandarin. I really don't think he knows what it says but it is really well written. He was copying it from the back of his field trip permission form.

Grandma's Gift

Grandma sent a suitcase with our friend Steve. Cam was super excited to go pick it up because he knew there was a birthday gift in it for him. He was so excited when he opened it and saw it was a fun Elmo case with the gang of Sesame Street in it. He wanted to take it everywhere. He thought it was fun to be big like his brothers and carry it to school just like his brothers. However, just like his brothers, he wanted it to hang on the stroller on our way home. He really, really, loves it!

Thanks Grandma!! Cam loves it and we all loved your chocolate chip cookies and everything else that was sent!!!

Australian Football

Kade and Kyle are playing Australian Football. Instead of having practice one Saturday morning they had a fun party where they handed out all of the uniforms to each player. Both Kade and Kyle enjoyed receiving their new uniform, especially since their name is on the back of it.

Here is their team.

This is the pool at the clubhouse where the party was at. All of the boys wished we had of brought their swimsuits so they could have swam. They still had fun though.

 Waiting for the shuttle.

Cam decided all of the fun was really tiring. He fell asleep right before we were suppose to leave. Because I didn't have his stroller I ended up having to carry him. He was really out because he stayed asleep while walking, sitting on the shuttle and going up the elevator. Nothing was going to wake him up. He does look so peaceful sleeping away.

Macau Auskick Lightning has their first official game this Saturday. That will be fun to watch. One of Kade's coaches says he is doing a great job.

Cam turns 3!!

 Cam turned 3!!
Cam is a fun, energetic, independent, and fun loving little guy. He absolutely loves Elmo and Mickey Mouse. He really likes to play on the ipad, my phone and watch movies. We really try to limit his time on this devices. However, sometimes when we do he throws the biggest tantrums ever. Yes, he is indeed three. Other than this he rarely throws tantrums. If he does I know it is because he needs a nap or go to bed. He is a sweetheart! Being a normal 3 year old he will sometimes do something wrong, like hitting me, etc. However, when he realizes he has done something wrong or has hurt me or his brothers he will quickly say he is sorry and give the biggest, slobbery kiss ever. He still loves to snuggle, especially in the morning before we actually get out of bed. He loves his brothers and really looks up to them. He loves to play with them. He likes going to church. He is usually the loudest one in sacrament, especially during the prayers. Cam really likes to say prayers with other people. When he realizes somebody is saying a prayer he will fold his arms and say "Heavenly Father" and try to copy everything they are saying. Because his speech isn't completely clear yet most people think he is being noisy. But in reality he just trying to say a prayer with the person saying the prayer, even the sacrament prayers. He still really enjoys looking at the hymn book and the children's song book. Even though he can't say the words clearly yet he loves to sing and dance. He loves music. When he is watching Mickey Mouse he tries to sing and dance along. When they ask questions he tries to respond. He is starting to want to walk everywhere instead of being in his stroller. However, when I let him walk to school instead of it taking 15-20 minutes it takes at least 30 minutes. He wants to stop and look at even the smallest things.

The Saturday before we his birthday we took all of the boys to Shrekfast. We thought they would really enjoy it, but because they had already seen it and knew what to expect they were not as interest as the first time. They even had a hard time taking pictures. I guess for our next special events we will continue to go the Wynn breakfast buffet.

The day before his birthday I needed to go pick up some wrapping paper. Before hopping on the shuttle we saw his good friend Will and his mom. She said she would watch Cam for me so I could hurry and do what I needed to do. Here are some pictures she snapped while they were playing in the playrooom.

 Playing hide n seek.

Finally, his official birthday! Cam wanted pancakes for breakfast. I attempted to make a Mickey Mouse pancake. The one in the picture is the best one I got. The other boys were pretty disappointed in their Mickey Mouse pancake.

Since it was his birthday we allowed him to play the ipad, at the table. Kyle was really interested too.

After breakfast and the boys leaving for school, Cam and I headed down to the Venetian. We went with our friends Mel and Jasper and Jen and Will. He had a really great time, especially with Will. Usually they only let kids who are 4 and older go down the slide, but since there was hardly anyone else there they let Cam go down the slide.

After the slide his next favorite part of the Qube is the ball pit, especially when the balls fly in the air.

We ate at Fatburger. He also opened his present from Will, an alligator who catches your hand as you try to figure out which of his teeth closes his mouth.

When we were done we headed home so he could take a nap. I wrapped his presents and made his cake.

Friends, Jasper and Oliver, gave Cam this shirt. He loves it!! He didn't want to take it off. He is suppose to be a Venetian gondola person who has two dogs in the gondola.

Opening his presents after everyone is home.

Singing "Happy Birthday" and blowing out his candles. Connor blew out one of his candles the first time so we had to sing again. He blew out the candles himself. Eric and I were watching videos of his birthday from last year. It was funny because he didn't know what to do. He really wanted to touch the fire. Then he realized he needed to blow out the candles, but had a hard time blowing air out of his mouth. This year he knew exactly what to do.

Giving daddy a hug!

Eating his cake. I am so glad the boys are not worried about how their cake looks instead they are more worried about eating a piece.

Telling me he is all done.

After they had cake it was time for bed. Cam Cam's birthday was coming to an end. He had a great birthday! We are so lucky this special little guy is part of our family! Each of us loves him so much!
