Art Night

Every year TIS has an Arts Night where they display a piece of art from each student in the entire school. Here is what was displayed of the boys' art. I also noticed the art from Ashley and Courtney (the girls in YW). Ashley's was amazing!! She missed a couple days of seminary to finish on time. I can see why she needed to.

Kade (obviously) :)

 Kyle's art of a dragozebra.

Connor's art of dried flowers and leaves.

 Cam's fun fan.

Here is three of Ashley's pieces of art. She is incredibly talented!

Courtney's artwork.

More of Connor's art displayed by his classroom. I don't know if he picked police man because he really wants to be that or because he knows that is what Kyle really wants to be.

When Connor had student led conferences he had to trace our hands. He accidentally cut one of his fingers off so his hand kind of looks like an alien hand. Lol!

We look forward to seeing what everyone creates next year!

Swim Field Trips

The end of the year is the season for swimming field trips. Connor was the first one of the season. His and Cam's field trips were at the Hac Sa swimming pool. Connor had such a great time! It was a really warm and sunny day. Unfortunately when it was Cam's turn to go the government issued a thunderstorm warning. This made it impossible for his class to go so they ended staying at school. Everyone was really bummed! This field trip was rescheduled for another day, however, the same the same thing happened. Just when Julie (a friend) and I were walking into the swimming pool area the lifeguards told us the pool was closed due to a thunderstorm warning. Sure enough it started to thunder and pour before the bus came to pick us up. Mitchell and Cam had a blast playing in the rain though (pictures below). Cam's last pool field trip was scheduled the morning of Connor's graduation, but that was also canceled. The class ended up having a water day outside. Poor Cam never got to go on a swim field trip. Hopefully next year in jk will be better. Kyle had a really fun time too! I enjoyed going with him, except for the part where he asked me why I have wrinkles on my face in front of everyone. That was super embarrassing! I am sure all three of them look forward to the swim field trips next year.

Connor

Kyle's field trip was at the Cheoc Van pool. I had never been to this pool yet so it was fun to get to see everything. I don't know why some of the pictures turned a little bit fuzzy.

Kyle with his good friend Zachary. In the second picture Zach's mom asked them to make a silly face. Zachary did it but Kyle didn't. He does have a pretty handsome smile though! :)

Cam's only swim field trip. He still had a lot of fun swinging and playing in the water.

Cam's 4th Birthday

We cannot believe Cam is 4! We are starting to realize he is not our little baby anymore. We have to remind the boys to not call him baby. Since Cam is still very much a Mickey Mouse fan I was wishing we could have a Mickey Mouse birthday for him. As I was thinking about it I remembered I packed all of the decorations from his 2nd birthday party. It turned out really cute! He invited his two really good friends to go swimming and then enjoy pizza, cake, and ice cream with him for his birthday. Cam was really pleased with everything, especailly the cake! My friend Vicki did an amazing job on the cake. It was delicious!

Getting ready to head to the pool. He actually kept the birthday hat on this year.

Swimming at the pool.

Opening a present from Mitchell and Will.

Opening his present from all of us.

Eating pizza so they can have cake and ice cream.

Singing to him.

On Monday we celebrated with his class. We had little Mickey cookies made for each of his classmates. It was also his classmate Chloe's birthday so they sang to both of them. He loved handing out the cookies to everyone and listening to them sing to him.

Eating some of the yummy cake from Chloe.

Happy Birthday little Cam! We love you more than words can say! We look forward to what you will accomplish this next year.
