As Christmas came we were really excited to do many things as a family. Our first outing was Christmas Eve. We went to Eric's co-workers apartment for Christmas dinner. We also met a couple of other families while we were there. It is so fun getting to know people, hear where they from and listen to where they have been. However, our night was cut a little short because Kade really did not start feeling well. We headed home and put everyone in bed, especially since Santa would be coming soon.
At 3:30 in the morning I heard Kyle and Connor whispering. I went into the family room to see them looking at the tree and the presents. However, the first thing I noticed was they were all moved. As I looked closer two of the presents were open. I made sure they went back to bed, fast. I told them that was rude of them to do because then it ruins Christmas morning for Kade and Cam too. After they went back to sleep nobody woke up until around 7 or 7:30.
Our Christmas tree. Some people may think it looks like the tree from Charlie Brown, but I think it looks really pretty, especially with all of the new ornaments from Grandma and some we bought from Park-N-Shop.
Santa brought 3 family gifts (most exciting was the X box One) and a gift for Cam. We bought them each a Lego set of their own. Because Kyle and Connor opened a couple of the presents they did not get to open this gift until much later in the day. Kade, Kyle, and Connor each received their own Nerf gun. Cam received a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with all of the characters. Then they also had a couple of Star War trinkets, car (truck and police motorcycle), and M&M's in their stockings.
It actually looked like it was snowing outside because it was so foggy. It was a nice Christmas morning. Kade was still sick. We were going to go to the Venetian to eat at McSorley's but he really needed to rest and, of course, we didn't want to leave him alone on Christmas. Instead we stayed home and enjoyed a nice quiet day. We also ordered pizza since I did not prepare myself to have to fix dinner on Christmas.

After Christmas we still stayed home because Kade was still not feeling better. However, on Monday morning he was feeling well enough to go see Star Wars. After that we relaxed at home until Wednesday when we went to Studio City to the new Warner Brothers Fun Zone for kids. We promised Kyle we would take all of them there as part of his birthday present. They had a really fun time.

This motion sensor game was really fun too, especially sense it kept score. Kade and I tried to keep beating each others score. He won.
On Thursday we went back to the JW Marriott to go to the Urban Kitchen restaurant. We thought they were going to have a really good buffet with turkey, ham, roast beef, etc. but there wasn't really anything like that there. I don't think we will be heading back there anything anytime soon. During lunch Connor started acting really tired and drowsy. Once we got home he started a fever and so did Cam and Kyle. Hence, our New Year's Eve and New Year's Day was not that great either. Both days were spent trying to get the boys feeling better.
We are excited to see what 2016 brings. At this point we don't know where we will be at this time next year. There are many unknown factors, but we do know we will be guided to where Heavenly Father wants us to be. Happy New Year!! We hope this year brings lots of love, laughter and happiness to all of our family and friends.
