Apple Store

There is a ladies group here called the International Ladies Club of Macau. ILCM for short. During the summer there was a class they put together at the Apple Store. The employees taught the boys how to make short movies. They had a good time.

Cam was too young to participate so he and I strolled around the Galaxy. There was a display of some of the famous landmarks from around the world. Cam made sure he posed by each one.

Kade, Kyle and Connor had to have a turn standing my them also, especially the Statue of Liberty.

This is what the boys were doing while we were eating our food from Pacific Coffee. They were trying to take their shirt off that was underneath the yellow Apple shirt. I am sure the guy right there was enjoying that. We left soon after.

Soon after we got home they had to play on the iPad (or reading scriptures as Kade says we were doing).

Cam tries to read along too.

Pictures from the second day of the camp.

Cam's first OT/PT appointments

After Cam's pediatrician appointment and initial evaluation for OT and PT services we started traveling back and forth to Hong Kong each month. Here are pictures from the first time we went to Hong Kong for these appointments. I remember at this time feeling really sad. I couldn't believe we were starting these appointments all over again. I felt like crying because I didn't know if all of this would help Cam. However, I did know that it would be worth the try.

We take the 7 a.m. ferry. This is the view we had leaving the terminal.

On the ferry. Cam always thinks it is fun because I let him play my phone.

Some of the views on our way to Hong Kong. We pass a bunch of little islands.

Waiting to cross the street. I am so grateful for google maps. Otherwise I probably would have been really lost.

While Cam is at his appointments I can walk around to see Hong Kong. Here is some of what I saw. Hong Kong is a really fast paced and busy city.

Every time we walk past an alleyway that is filled with Halloween costumes. I now know where to buy costumes for the boys. :) Cam is excited to be working with Jess and Serene. All of us are excited to see what improvements he makes.

Macau Science Center

In August 2016 we went to the Macau Science Center. There was a special dinoasaur exhibition going on. Kade has his hands up because the sun was too bright for him.

Connor and Cam attempting to act scared of the dinosaurs.

Having fun on all the different themed floors. One of their favorites is the water floor.

The food center had samples of the food different countries eat.

Finally we made it to the dinosaurs.

Eating McDonald's afterwards. I still have a difficult time with people leaving all of their garbage on the table. However, this is part of the culture. An employee always comes to clean up. In the states if someone did this I am sure they would get glares from the other customers and employees.

Overall this was a fun time. It always nice to get out of the apartment and go exploring. :)
